denied! and alysse's new ride!

I thought i was going to pull a fast one on my children this year for halloween and I was going to pick what they were going to be! I had it alllllll planned out. Ashlyn was going to be a cowgirl and alysse was going to be the cow! I was sooo excited. well in enters my mom who just loves to stir the pot and she informs ashlyn that for the fifth year in a row that she can be a fairy or whatever she wants and that my mom will make her a costume! THANKS MOM! So ashlyn decides that once again she is going to be a fairy... very original! I caved in with one exception...she had to wear the cowboy boots that I had bought her! So she kept her end of the deal and now i have to keep mine dang it!!!!

Then! We went to my favorite place on earth, Target and we found this ingenious little contraption which alysse loves. she was so cute riding it around. pushing all the buttons and being just too cool. she loves her new ride!

Ashlyn is so darling! I love love love her outfit..so much so that Ella has the same one :). Your girls are so gorgeous!

Cute car! I would totally get that for mailee but I just don't want it cluttering up things....i'll probably give in sooner or later, but for now maybe i'll just show mailee pics of alysse riding it...yeah...that'll be sufficient for her don't you think :)

so are you really going to get that edward shirt. i'm totally getting it...just not wearing it in public :)

Ashlyn is adorable. I too cringe at letting my kids choose their own costumes. I love the pink boots. I won't show Meysa or else she will want a pair.

By the way! So jealous that you went on a trip all by yourself for the weekend. I was sure to quickly inform Dan of how cool that was! Hint hint, huh?

It was so fun to get your comment the other day! I had to check out your blog--it took very little searching. I haven't seen Alysse since she was born. She's adorable! Your girls really make me want a girl now. Boys are awesome too, though :)

YEAH I'm totally stoked! We're definitely coming to Michigan for Thanksgiving! As it stands now, we'll head up first thing on Thanksgiving morn and stay until late Saturday. So, talk to everybody and let me know what we can contribute. I was thinking rolls and/or desserts would travel best. Plus, I know we are more than welcome to stay with you as well as everyone else. But, 5 people is a lot and we're doing okay so we're gonna stay in a hotel. We were thinking it would be fun to stay somewhere with an indoor pool so that everyone can come swimming. We're gonna start researching what's around you (Sterling Heights/Clinton Township area), but we're wondering if you have any suggestions??? :)
